Establishment of the Thai Cultural Council in Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar – TCCM on November 11, 2024.
The Thai–Mongolian Cultural Council (TCCM) was established in accordance with the laws of the Ministry of Culture of Thailand, and operates under the supervision of the Department of Cultural Promotion. TCCM is officially recognized as one of Thailand’s 17 legitimate overseas cultural councils.
Mr. Nattapong Punthakeirtpaisarn, the Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Phuket and Phang-nga, has been elected by the Council’s Board Members and formally approved by the relevant Thai authorities to serve as the President of TCCM.
The first official letter introducing the Council was formally issued to the Embassy of Mongolia in Thailand as a gesture of friendship and cooperation, with the aim of enhancing cultural exchange and mutual understanding between the two nations.
