Meeting with KMITL on Strengthening Ties with Mongolian Universities

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somyot Kaitwanidvilai, Dean of the School of Engineering, together with the executive team of the Faculty of Engineering, and Mr. Chaipoj Tantraviwat, President of the KMITL Engineering Alumni Association, hosted a welcome reception and meeting with Mr. Nattapong Punthakeirtpaisarn, Honorary Consul of Mongolia to Thailand.
The meeting aimed to explore potential collaborations between KMITL—one of Thailand’s leading universities—and the Consulate Office in expanding academic and industry partnerships with Mongolian universities and the private sector. Key areas of focus included Renewable Energy, Hospitality, and Student Exchange Programs.
In addition, Mongolia Honorary Consul as the president of Thai Cultural Council in Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar – TCCM , the parties discussed cultural initiatives, including the proposal to organize a Thai-Mongolian Friendship Musical Concert at the KMITL Auditorium later this year. It was mutually agreed to further develop the idea of inviting Mongolian musicians to perform alongside Thai artists in a joint cultural showcase.
